Road Trip-Scottsdale, AZ

Easter weekend we (David, me and Bo) took a road trip to Scottsdale, AZ.  It is 6 or so hours away from ABQ.  When we started the drive David and I thought it would be boring with not much to look at.  Boy were we wrong.  It was probably one of the most scenic drives I have ever taken.  Who knew there was snow and mountains in Arizona.  I don't know about you but I always thought AZ was flat and a desert.   There was several feet of snow on top of the mountain and we also drove through a national forest with very tall trees.  Another thing I did not know AZ would have.

Bo's first road trip was tough.  He didn't want to get out of the car anywhere and was scared of the big trucks.  But when we arrived at Uncle Tim and Aunt Angie's he was in dog heaven.  He loved his cousins Trapper and Cole (they are golden retrievers).

While in Scottsdale, we did lots of fun stuff.  We went to eat Good Friday dinner at an Irish Pub and boy was it yummy.  We also went to a Diamondbacks vs. Cubs baseball game, played shuffle board at one of the coolest bars we have ever been to, we went swimming and relaxed outside a lot in the wonderful weather.  We also had a rattle snake visitor.
